Livingston is an energy sector technology company based in New York’s Capital Region, that specializes in Electric Vehicle charging station equipment and platforms. Beyond stations we pride ourselves in providing a suite of facility solutions including energy efficiency equipment consultation, funding and financing options, installation, and general implementation services. Livingston’s development efforts focus heavily on products designed for our sales personnel to utilize as additional lines of business and cross-selling opportunities. Members of our team will not only have access to sell these industry-leading products but will be important liaisons with the market and help inform the design of our next models and lines of products.

Electric Vehicle sales are expected to be 25% of vehicle sales by 2025 and 50% by 2040 and everyone from local to national businesses, government and municipal organizations are preparing for this by adding and upgrading electric vehicle charging infrastructure across the globe. This is being pushed using both state and federal incentives and tax breaks. In your role as Account Executive at Livingston Energy Group you will be responsible for enabling new and existing customers to deploy electric vehicle charging infrastructure by maximizing the benefits and incentives available to them.


  • In this role you will be responsible for Electric Vehicle Charging Station infrastructure deployment for new and existing commercial, industrial and municipal customers;
  • We are looking for an ambitious, hardworking, smart and over-achieving salesperson with proven experience and a passion for selling technology solutions;
  • You will be responsible for selling into new prospects as well as farming back into existing customers to ensure high renewal and customer satisfaction levels;
  • You will be responsible for conducting your own customer research and lead generation;
  • Measures of success include new customer acquisition rates, the volume of meetings, quotes, and the number of new accounts closed; as well as renewal rates, up-selling, cross-selling, and customer satisfaction ratings;
  • You are expected to contribute towards overall sales team goals, as each individual is a component of the metrics for whole business success.


  • Plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals through complete sales cycles;
  • Model the financial business case associated with each sales opportunity;
  • Successfully match customer requirements to proposed solutions and incentives;
  • Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition;
  • Manage all aspects of RFP / RFI responses;
  • Record and track all prospects and deals properly using the company CRM provided;
  • Effectively communicate client needs to the R&D teams for future product enhancements;


  • Proven work experience in sales;
  • Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with customers;
  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner;
  • Some technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Excellent presentation and creativity skills;
  • Willingness to travel;

Note: This position has a base salary plus commissions enabling the individual to earn into six figures. There is an additional travel stipend included. This position comes with sales and technical training, along with an opportunity for your first promotion after only 90 days.
