Clarkson University Capital Region Campus in Schenectady New York invites applicants to apply for the position of Assistant Director of International Graduate Admissions. The Assistant Director will support international prospects, applicants and admitted applicants through outreach communication and responses to questions. The Assistant Director will track applications from lead to completed application and eventually to enrolled student. To provide seamless transitions, the Assistant Director will work with the International Center and enrollment services, especially to ensure arrival and orientation processes are welcoming and informational. The Assistant Director may also attend recruitment fairs and events, including internationally. The position requires evening and weekend work, flexible hours
and travel.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelors’ Degree with 3-5 years’ experience. Minimum of one year of Intercultural or international experience, such as work with refugees, teaching English as second language, living overseas, study abroad or Peace Corps. Self-direction, ability to proactively seek out
opportunities and execute upon them. Knowledge of trends, challenges and opportunities in international education, and demonstrated vision and enthusiasm for building a successful overall program. Excellent analytical skills, understanding of recruitment strategies and demonstrated experience using data and technology. Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills. Availability and willingness to travel, work evenings and weekends and have a valid driver's license. US Citizen or
Permanent Resident, due to SEVP regulations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to become technically proficient with Slate.
