Full-time, 12 month position.   For a detailed job description, visit www.schalmont.org/employment.  Some responsibilities include coordinating external an internal communications, media relations, and the writing/editing of district-wide publications; promote and facilitate collaborations between community, student’s family and neighborhood organizations; organize events to highlight/strengthen the school/community connection; serve as community liaison to build Educational STEM Ecosystem with local government, higher education and business communities. Serves as emergency communications coordinator for district.  Minimum of two years of experience in journalism, public relations, marketing, or community outreach; experience in teaching and community development activities preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. Masters preferred.
